Thanks so much for the run this morning! It was great, I hope that we can meet again sometime to do it?

Loved my first run with the group. I can’t tell you how welcoming and encouraging the group is. I think I’ve already talked my husband’s ear off about the group. Looking forward to this Saturday.

What a great run Saturday a.m. Tracy and I ran with Jen and Millie and loved every minute of learning about out new CFAR friends. After dropping off Jen and Millie (4 miles) Tracy and I continued on for 6 more miles on the peaceful route of Country Club Road.

Waking up Sunday morning a little stiff from the previous day’s miles I was unable to help myself to a short 5 mile loop in the hills of quincy. The labor day weekend was topped off with a 5 mile hike on the AT with my sidekick Rachel. I will miss the group this Saturday as my family will be vacationing in Duck, N.C. My goal is 11 miles on Friday morning in N.C. If anyone happens to know of a running group or possible running partner that lives in Duck, please let me know, if not 11 miles solo will be good for the soul :)

Thanks Daryl! We were so happy to be there! We’ll see you next week!

What a great morning to run and enjoy the fine company of other runners. Left the Y at 5:30 with Vicke and Rheeanna. We looped back to the 7:00 group with 7 miles under our feet. A nice group met which included two new runners – Jen and Millie! A big welcome to you two.
The coolest thing is this, Jen went to Mapyourrun.com looking for routes to run in Waynesboro and CFAR came up. She went to our facebook page and….the rest will be exciting history they can look back on!
Two groups left at 7:10, the gazelles – Rod, Mike, Steve F.and someone else – and the reasonables! :) Bea, Harry, Wayne Driscoll, Wayne Burham and Sue joined Vicki,Rheeanna and me for ten more miles.
Ending with coffee and Adventures topped the CFAR experience for some of us.

Also a big thanks to Lori E for taking race literature to the 5K in Greencastle for us and congratulations to her and her family. Some PR’s and first time racers!

    Enjoy your holiday weekend!
