Scheduled topics include (subject to change):
“The Basics” – establishing the running habit with a 4-week “get-going training plan”, clothing, safety, warm-up & stretching.
“Next Steps” – running bio-mechanics, hydration pre & post meals and running lingo.
“3-day/week Running” – 3-day/week training, nutrition, recovery & cross-training.
“Avoiding Injury” – physiology of running, avoiding injury, staying fit while injured, running with a cold.
