CFAR has embraced a slightly different approach to seeking financial support.  The traditional running community model solicits one-time donations and sponsorships for events in exchange for donor recognition on event shirts.  The effectiveness of these “rubber billboards” (i.e. event shirt) has always been questionable.

CFAR seeks to foster long-term relationships with its financial supporters.  To this end, it has designed a web site intended to not only broadcast running specific information, but to do it in a way that showcases its prominent financial supporters or Underwriters.

Working closely with Cermak Technologies, CFAR has designed an “Underwriter Slideshow” that showcases an Underwriters name, logo and/or message.  Slides change every 3-seconds in a dedicated 1” x 4” “slideshow” area appearing on each web page.

The result is incredibly strong passive marketing.  As viewers move through the site, they are met with the “Underwriter Slideshow” that quietly, but effectively, gets the Underwriter’s name, logo and/or message out to the viewer.

No more shotgun advertising. Deliver your name, logo or message to our web site viewers approximately every three seconds, 24/7!  Wow, and you thought we were just a bunch of running groupies in safety green shirts.
